Eye-catching Data Visualization

This product showcases all of the data, facts, and trends of a pair of Levi Jeans. I believe it is important to create data visualization‘s instead of just reading facts on a black and white piece of paper. With the right creative tools you can tell a story, remove the noise, and highlight the useful information. When creating a data visualization one must understand the audience, work within a clear framework, and tell a good story. It is so much easier for one to look at a chart like this and grasp the information because our eyes are drawn to colors and patterns.

Menu Redesign

The idea of this project was to create something more eye-appealing, promotes profitability, and keeps a brand fresh. I had to go through usability testing to help create a legible and aesthetically pleasing menu for this coffee shop & café. First I had to look at what the main problems were, which included…

  • being too crowded

  • no pops of color or design

  • font that is too small

  • no organization

I then altered the menu in order to create an impression on the client and convey the cafés brand in an exciting way. Using spacing, color & font that fits with the brand, and adding in a bit of sophistication and elegance I was able to create a menu that portrays the cafés personality and focuses on overall operations. Rebranding is a key to draw attraction to a business and express its personality.

This project was done for a college class, I did not actually work with the shop.

Digital Media Production

This project showcases creative design through digital media production. I demonstrated my knowledge of Adobe Creative Cloud to produce a short clip about the harmful effects of E-Waste on the planet. It is crucial to create media like this to show the relationship between different ideas visually. By using techniques, technologies and concepts of digital image making and manipulation one can create a more eye catching project. Digital media facilitates social interaction and empowers people.

Client Projects in Creative Technology and Design

This is another example of re-branding and creative design. Here I worked with a client that wanted a new fresh outlook on their food blog. They had amazing content but did not know how to fit it all together to make it more aesthetically appealing and draw more attention to it. While working with this client I had to focus on what they wanted including colors, font, and the message they were sending. I went through every stage of usability testing to make sure the client was happy with the outcome. I was able to provide diverse perspectives from the clients user base and give clear insights into the products strengths and weaknesses. Finding the right design is very important for each client to represent their brand and promote their product.
